GABRIELLA CARBALLO

Gabriella Carballo is an emerging associate attorney in AVILA’s Corporate Law, Mergers & Acquisitions group, as well as the firm’s Banking & Financial Services practice. 

Gabriella developed a strong background in corporate and financial matters through her experience as a Summer Associate at AVILA in 2022 and 2023, where she worked closely with partners and associates by conducting research assignments, writing summaries and opinions, assisting with due diligence, and drafting and editing contracts and agreements. Her work has been focused on delivering comprehensive support for various transactional matters. 

Gabriella also has a deep passion for the performing arts, having served as a teacher and choreographer at The Vault Dance Studio in Miami, Florida since 2015. Additionally, she has contributed to arts education in Miami through her role as a theatre volunteer, directing and choreographing school musicals and competition pieces. 

Gabriella earned her Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Florida International University College of Law in May 2024. During her time at FIU, she served as the Executive Alumni Relations Editor of the FIU Law Review and was recognized with a Full Tuition Scholarship and various Dean’s List designations. Prior to law school, she graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Theatre.
