Juan Carlos ‘JC’ Cura Joins Avila as Partner in the Real Estate, Zoning & Land Use Practice
The Miami law firm targets strategic growth partners to meet increasing client demand.
Miami law firm AVILA announced the addition of Juan Carlos “JC” Cura to its Real Estate, Zoning and Land Use practice as a senior partner.
With over 30 years of experience, Cura represents buyers and sellers in a variety of residential and commercial real estate transactions, including high-end and complex individual and corporate real estate sales and purchases. He also represents financial institutions as lender’s counsel, preparing their lending documents and providing loan closing management and supervision. He works closely with foreign clients who are buying, selling, leasing and/or investing in the U.S. real estate market.
“AVILA has a powerful platform, network and reputation as a go-to provider of high-quality legal counsel. Moreover, finding an organization with a family-oriented culture was very important to me,” said Cura. “I am pleased to join a firm that embraces the highest standards of legal professionalism, as well as work-life balance, which makes it much more professionally and personally rewarding to practice law.”
Before joining AVILA, Cura served as real estate counsel and managing partner of a boutique Miami law firm.
“JC is one of the brightest lawyers to join our team and we hope to continue adding others who share our vision and commitment to rolling up our sleeves and getting the job done for our clients,” said Founding Partner Patricia Hernandez. “We are fortunate to continue attracting the top talent of our profession, which is key to meeting our clients sophisticated needs and meeting growing demand for our services.”
