MANUEL ROBLEDO

Associate

Manuel is an associate in AVILA’s Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions practice group, as well as the firm’s Banking & Financial Services department. He works alongside partners and senior counsel on a variety of complex matters.  

Manuel represents clients in domestic and international transactions, as well as matters relating to banking and financial services, including lending transactions. His experience includes cross-border securities transactions and project finance, among other transactional practices. 

Prior to joining AVILA, Manuel practiced in the New York office of an international law firm, where he worked on capital markets and project finance transactions. He represented sovereign nations, banks, and multilateral corporations in debt offerings of securities pursuant to Rule 144A, Regulation S, and Section 4(a)(2) under the Securities Act of 1933. 

Manuel earned a dual bachelor’s degree of Business Administration in International Business and Management at Florida International University. He then earned a Juris Doctorate at the University of Miami School of Law. While in law school, Manuel participated in the study abroad program, successfully completing courses in the Master of Laws in International Business from the IE Law School in Madrid, Spain. He also worked in the Investor’s Rights Legal Clinic and earned several legal certifications. He is licensed to practice law in Florida, the District of Columbia*, and the State of New York.  

He is fluent in English and Spanish, and enjoys playing tennis, golf, and soccer.
