Asnardo ‘Nardy’ Garro Named “Lawyer of the Year” in Banking and Finance Law
Best Lawyers® has named Banking Practice Co-Leader Asnardo ‘Nardy’ Garro “Lawyer of the Year” in the Banking & Finance category, the highest distinction bestowed upon individual attorneys for their achievement in a specific practice area and geographic region.
Asnardo Garro, partner and co-leader of AVILA’s Banking and Corporate practices, earned the distinction of Lawyer of the Year in Banking and Finance Law, a recognition bestowed upon individual lawyers who received the highest overall peer feedback for a specific practice area and geographic region. According to Best Lawyers®, “only one lawyer is recognized as the ‘Lawyer of the Year’ for a specialty and metropolitan location per edition.”
Mr. Garro represents financial institutions, financial services companies, money services businesses, and corporate clients with respect to complex financing transactions, sale and acquisition matters, and other complex business transactions. He also represents corporate clients in domestic, international and cross-border mergers, joint venture and acquisition transactions.
Mr. Garro is the third AVILA Banking partner recognized in this category, joining founders Alcides I. Avila and Patricia M. Hernandez, who both previously earned individual Lawyer of the Year in Banking and Finance Law recognitions.
