AVILA announced today that Monica Cunill-Fals has joined the firm as a partner in the commercial real estate practice. Monica Cunill-Fals brings over sixteen years of commercial real estate experience and joins AVILA’s real estate practice as a partner, leaving her prior firm of over thirteen years, Bilzin Sumberg. Ms. Cunill-Fals represents local, national and international clients in the acquisition, disposition, financing and leasing of various types of commercial real estate projects, including shopping centers, office buildings, apartment complexes, hotels, storage facilities, and industrial properties. She has significant experience representing servicers of securitized commercial real estate loans in a variety of complex matters involving performing and non-performing loans.
