Sabrina Rishmague is an associate in AVILA’s Corporate and Financial Services Group where she represents financial institutions and corporate clients in financial transactions and domestic and international mergers and acquisitions.

Sabrina received her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in May 2018 and earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Miami in 2014. While in law school, she was involved in the Professional Responsibility and Ethics Program (PREP) and a member of the Academic Achievement Program – Dean’s Fellow.

REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS

    • Represented City National Bank of Florida in its purchase of Miami-based Executive National Bank.
    • Represented Banesco USA in its acquisition of Brickell Bank (previously known as Espirito Santo Bank).
    • Represented the Egas family, the owner of Banco Pichincha in Ecuador, in its acquisition of Intercredit Bank, N.A.
    • Represented a leading wholesaler and re-marketer of consumer products, in its sale to a NY-based private equity firm.
    • Represented a subscription-based publisher of financial information in connection with the asset sale of a stock trading platform company.
    • Represented an individual in the sale of 100% of his equity interests in his tattoo manufacturing and supply companies to a private equity firm based in Coral Gables, Florida.
    • Represent a Miami-based real estate investment firm in connection with preferred equity transactions.
    • Assist money service businesses and other financial institutions with registration and licensure requirements under state and federal law.
    • Assist domestic and foreign banks in connection with regulatory matters, including BSA/AML/OFAC matters, voluntary self-disclosures, and other related compliance matters.
