Michael DeGori is an associate in AVILA’s litigation department where he represents corporate clients in a wide range of business disputes in federal and state court and before various arbitration panels.
Prior to joining AVILA, Mr. DeGori worked in various law firms in Miami where he represented international and domestic companies in commercial and business law matters at both the federal and state court levels.
While in law school, Mr. DeGori served on the Executive Board for Emory’s Mock Trial Society and volunteered with Emory Law’s Volunteer Clinic for Veterans, providing pro bono services to Veterans. During law school, Mr. DeGori was placed on the Dean’s list for various semesters, earned Pro Bono commendations, and was named a member of the Order of Emory Advocates, which is one of Emory Law’s most prestigious awards granted to students who exhibited excellence and attained high honor through the art of advocacy and persuasion.
